As mentioned before, one of my motivations for making this website was to share music that with a positive message that people will find as uplifting, and this songs fits perfectly into that criteria!

According to Genius.com, this song is about Izzy's friend, Georgia, who is struggling with low self-esteem. The notable lyric in the chorus is quite self-explanatory and the main message that I take from the song.

Despite how much other people care for you and genuinely think positively of you, it can very difficult to believe that too. No matter how much someone tells you, that voice in your head goes to all lengths to prove them wrong. It can feel like a trap and something you'll never be able to change.

Getting out of the mental "slump" requires a lot of effort as people don't wake up one day feeling better about themselves. It's a long process that requires changing behaviour a lot more than simply changing your mind. The struggle is a "comfort zone" as stepping out of it requires you to begin the mental marathon towards rebuilding your self-esteem.

This song is pleasant listen and friendly Monday reminder that you are gorgeous.
